Hot and dry as the blazes of hell
Bright green plants and trees around a pond of crystal-clear water
The ducks quacking away my patience
Smell the rejuvenation of life, water,
That dampens the atmosphere, so that you can
Taste it's purity on your lips
Warm humid air wrapping around me, hugging me.
My third parent, fourth big brother, teaching me life,
Raising me, feeding me,
Lecturing me, listening to me
My teacher, my mentor, my life
Whispering deafening silence……………
