Peggy, 1999

Her eyes are imposing, brown and stone cold
Its surprising how she can be so bold
She passes me as no more than a breeze
It seems as though i have no more to please
we once were always there for eachother
But now it seems to be more of a bother
Once inseperable,now forgotten
our relationship has become rotten
I think she forgets how we used to be
Sitting and talking 'neath the willow tree
we could sit there for hours talkign about
how at our school you had to have a clout
Time we shared meant a lot to her she said
So I said "forgive me" and went to bed
Now I just ponder whatever went wrong
cause it seems that it has been way to long
I can't see if you remember my name
when i say "hi" you never do the same
Floating away like the notes of a song
Just one day, and like that you were gone
